Our economically designed Z-Guard™ attaches directly to the building, so it can offer maximum protection against impacts. Foam Head Member
This 12″ wide foam filled wood backed head member is standard on Perma Dock Seals for doors less than 9’0″ high. It delivers three sided foam protection that provides the most effective seal at the loading dock door.
Extra wide head members, 18″ to 30″, are available to allow varied truck height coverage. Chain-weighed drop flaps sewn to the foam head pad service an occasional lower truck and can be held out of the way with velcro fasteners.
Standard Rigid Shelter
Perma Tech’s Rigid Dock Shelter is designed to service a variety of truck sizes and types, regardless of dock door size. As the truck backs into the shelter, the face curtains wrap around the truck sides, therefore ensuring positive weather protection, yet allowing for full truck opening accessibility and accommodating both 8’0″ and 8’6″ wide trailers.
A rigid framework combined with a wide range of curtain fabrics make Perma’s Rigid Shelter suitable for even the heaviest traffic application. Fiberglass stays sewn into the face and the curtains hold snug against the truck while the foam filled bottom cushions prevent bottom draft.
Perma Tech sews extra heavy duty wear areas at all the critical truck contact points and uses only pressure treated lumber to give you a unit that’s built to last. Steel frames are optional. Face curtains on Prema’s Rigid Dock Shelter wrap around the back of a trailer, due to reduced energy loss and positive weather protection.

ROLLING COUNTER DOOR
Commonly utilized in cafeterias, concession stands and ticket booths, our Rolling Counter Doors provide accessibility and security in interior and exterior finished wall openings. These doors are manufactured with smaller, more aesthetically pleasing components – such as the guides, slats, brackets and hood – than traditional rolling doors. They require minimal headroom and, as a result, they can be custom-fit into a wide variety of openings.

Rolling steel doors are metal slatted doors that roll up to store in coil above the opening. They are used to provide security against entry or weather protection at exterior and interior openings in industrial, commercial, institutional and other buildings. They are also called overhead coiling doors or service doors.
THERMISER® INSULATED ROLLING DOOR
Thermiser Insulated Rolling Doors, designed for exterior use, help maintain different temperatures on each side of the door. They are an ideal choice for use in environments that require climate control, security and durability, such as distribution, industrial, hospitality, retail and more.
Thermiser doors store compactly, require little to no maintenance and deliver a low life cycle cost. In fact, we warranty this product for 50,000 cycles as standard.
Foamed in place insulation offers superior protection against the elements, improved security and reduced sound transmission. The Thermiser helps seal the building envelope and keeps noise in – or out.
Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating is up to 30 for the curtain and up to 18 for the entire assembly. If an STC of 32 is desired, additional options are required. Please consult the factory for details. All configurations are evaluated per ASTM E90, based on testing a complete, operable assembly.

Speed-Guardian™ 5000 LS Low Speed Series
The Speed-Guardian™ 5000 LS low speed series of high performance rigid panel doors matches the looks of the high speed, Speed-Guardian™ 5000 models, but is priced considerably lower. The 5000 LS has all of the same aesthetics as the Speed-Guardian™ 5000 high speed models, such as 1-5/8″ insulated panel and double-pane windows with Duratec® protective coating, but is less expensive and has operating speeds of 8″ per second, allowing building owners to realize a savings for door openings where low cycles will exist; where they want to have the look of the high speed Speed-Guardian™, but don’t need the high speed operation.
The standard lift model 5000 LS uses a trolley motor with 15,000 springs for operation. High cycle springs up to 100,000 cycles are available for higher use applications. A jackshaft motor is used with the optional high lift and vertical lift track configurations.

VEHICLE RESTRAINTS
Blue Giant vehicle restraints are simply designed, easy to use, and can apply up to 35,000 lb (15,875 kg) of restraining force to keep a truck or trailer stationed at the dock. They safeguard against unscheduled departures, trailer creep, and trailer walk, and require minimal maintenance.
